According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Hawaii added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (195), followed by Utah (145), and Michigan (130).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-126), followed by Maryland (-66), and California (-64).
