According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (230), followed by Texas (151), and Maryland (141).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-146), followed by New York (-52), and Tennessee (-28).
