According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Alaska added 9,708 number of jobs to all local government business establishments. Among Alaska counties, Matanuska-Susitna added the highest number of jobs (2,064), followed by Kenai Peninsula (726), and Bethel (437).
