According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, West Virginia added 8,397 number of jobs to all local government business establishments. Among West Virginia counties, Kanawha added the highest number of jobs (2,562), followed by Cabell (1,451), and Hancock (485).
