According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Alaska added -32 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Kodiak Island added the highest number of jobs (20), followed by Valdez-Cordova (19), and Southeast Fairbanks (17).
