According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Alaska added 6,007 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Fairbanks North Star added the highest number of jobs (1,412), followed by Kusilvak (567), and Juneau (496).
