According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added 60,130 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among California counties, San Diego added the highest number of jobs (8,367), followed by Santa Clara (7,679), and Contra Costa (6,249).
