According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2021, Connecticut added -24,221 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Connecticut counties, Middlesex added the highest number of jobs (-1,289), followed by Litchfield (-1,362), and Tolland (-1,507).
