According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, Illinois added 550 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (3,719), followed by DuPage (2,185), and Lake (1,080).
