According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2021, Illinois added -62,609 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Illinois counties, Brown added the highest number of jobs (-5), followed by Calhoun (-5), and Gallatin (-19).
