According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Louisiana added -16,055 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Ascension added the highest number of jobs (117), followed by St. Martin (63), and Jefferson Davis (52).
