According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Maine added -10,671 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Maine counties, Piscataquis added the highest number of jobs (-200), followed by Lincoln (-209), and Waldo (-233).
