According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, New Jersey added 1,994 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among New Jersey counties, Middlesex added the highest number of jobs (1,180), followed by Morris (920), and Mercer (835).
