According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (20,053), followed by Illinois (8,288), and California (7,600).
On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-549), followed by Vermont (-164), and Rhode Island (-106).
