According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, Louisiana added 5,637 number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Louisiana counties, Orleans added the highest number of jobs (829), followed by Pointe Coupee (8), and Avoyelles (5).
