According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (1,440), followed by Missouri (601), and North Carolina (583).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-1,577), followed by Washington (-194), and Alabama (-97).
