According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (916), followed by Washington (406), and California (302).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-19), followed by Vermont (-14), and Rhode Island (-10).
