According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, North Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the local government professional and business services industry (), followed by Hawaii (354), and Texas (182).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-446), followed by California (-370), and South Carolina (-247).
