According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government education and health services industry (15,355), followed by Washington (2,377), and Massachusetts (2,309).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-1,431), followed by Arizona (-1,312), and Louisiana (-418).
