According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government education and health services industry (23,254), followed by Ohio (16,322), and New York (15,983).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-183), followed by Rhode Island (229), and New Mexico (490).
