According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the local government utilities industry (12), followed by Michigan (4), and Vermont (1).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-307), followed by Texas (-236), and Pennsylvania (-121).
