According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Hawaii added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (14), followed by Alaska (2), and Nebraska (1).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-396), followed by Ohio (-366), and Texas (-174).
