According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (91), followed by Texas (68), and Louisiana (50).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-51), followed by Maine (-32), and Wisconsin (-13).
