According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Connecticut added the highest number of jobs to the local government transit and ground passenger transportation industry (), followed by Illinois (197), and Georgia (47).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-3,110), followed by West Virginia (-2,468), and Minnesota (-1,391).
