According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, South Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the local government support activities for transportation industry (), followed by California (63), and Texas (39).

On the other hand, Washington added the least number of jobs (-30), followed by Virginia (-30), and Ohio (-19).
