According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government administrative and waste services industry (68), followed by North Carolina (67), and Missouri (35).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-78), followed by Texas (-64), and Ohio (-53).
