According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government administrative and waste services industry (159), followed by New Jersey (111), and Pennsylvania (70).

On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-426), followed by Utah (-140), and Louisiana (-123).
