According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the local government waste management and remediation services industry (17), followed by California (12), and Virginia (11).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-44), followed by Ohio (-29), and Pennsylvania (-23).
