According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (19,472), followed by California (14,368), and Ohio (10,272).

On the other hand, Washington added the least number of jobs (34), followed by Mississippi (234), and New Mexico (281).
