According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (6,505), followed by New York (4,712), and Minnesota (4,607).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-9,419), followed by Mississippi (-97), and Alabama (44).
