According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (8,003), followed by Washington (3,961), and Illinois (3,147).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-607), followed by Missouri (-502), and Oklahoma (-307).
