According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the local government other schools and instruction industry (45), followed by Texas (12), and Montana (5).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-41), followed by California (-31), and Ohio (-13).
