According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Connecticut added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (574), followed by California (337), and South Carolina (323).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-827), followed by Missouri (-506), and Ohio (-401).
