According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (2,089), followed by Texas (684), and Florida (439).

On the other hand, South Carolina added the least number of jobs (-1,628), followed by New York (-326), and Kentucky (-227).
