According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Missouri added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (371), followed by Tennessee (221), and New Jersey (207).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-1,768), followed by Kentucky (-723), and Texas (-402).
