According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the local government health care and social assistance industry (165), followed by Tennessee (115), and Mississippi (85).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-454), followed by New York (-453), and Texas (-439).
