According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (390), followed by North Carolina (254), and Kentucky (229).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-152), followed by Illinois (-127), and Florida (-114).
