According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (240), followed by South Carolina (156), and Alabama (121).

On the other hand, Kansas added the least number of jobs (-110), followed by Iowa (-64), and Indiana (-62).
