According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (512), followed by Florida (408), and South Carolina (238).

On the other hand, Kentucky added the least number of jobs (-177), followed by Washington (-137), and Missouri (-136).
