According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (302), followed by New York (289), and Arizona (114).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-77), followed by Nevada (-51), and Michigan (-31).
