According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (184), followed by North Carolina (166), and South Carolina (144).

On the other hand, Kansas added the least number of jobs (-68), followed by Nevada (-63), and Washington (-49).
