According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,419), followed by West Virginia (425), and Florida (389).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-7), followed by Nebraska (-1), and South Dakota (0).
