According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (766), followed by New York (517), and Missouri (372).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-194), followed by Illinois (-60), and South Dakota (-3).
