According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the local government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (161), followed by Georgia (34), and Kentucky (26).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-392), followed by Michigan (-127), and Alabama (-108).
