According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the local government social assistance industry (42), followed by Virginia (23), and Oklahoma (11).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-127), followed by Oregon (-72), and Illinois (-47).
