According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the local government arts, entertainment, and recreation industry (66), followed by Maine (48), and Maryland (30).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-797), followed by California (-664), and Missouri (-415).
