According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the local government food services and drinking places industry (1,133), followed by Indiana (444), and New Mexico (277).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-3), followed by Washington (1), and Mississippi (5).
