According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the local government restaurants and other eating places industry (372), followed by California (39), and Oklahoma (22).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-104), followed by New Mexico (-2), and Mississippi (3).
