United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Public Administration Industry in May, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government public administration industry (5,633), followed by Michigan (5,094), and California (3,362).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-5,396), followed by Missouri (-175), and Hawaii (42).
