According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (834), followed by Florida (594), and Colorado (523).

On the other hand, Minnesota added the least number of jobs (-965), followed by Iowa (-420), and Pennsylvania (-278).
